Five acres,
a long view.

Emory Resort is 40% complete, while 60% is still under construction — and is positioned to become the leading hospitality and tourism hub for Western Kenya.

Our Story

Built on a corridor,
built around a region.

Emory Resort sits on five acres along the Mumias–Bungoma Road, in the heart of Western Kenya. The resort is 40% complete, while 60% is still under construction, with works on further amenities ongoing, and is positioned to become the leading hospitality and tourism hub for the region.

Emory Resort is the flagship company of Emory and Confy Investments — the investment group founded and led by Christine Muhando, of which the resort is the principal hospitality holding.

Rather than a single expansion event, our growth is organised into six reinforcing pillars: capacity and infrastructure development, revenue diversification, marketing and brand positioning, strategic partnerships and community engagement, sustainability as a competitive differentiator, and a co-ownership and amenity model adapted from comparable Kenyan resorts.

Western Kenya's tourism sector benefits from rising domestic travel, growing government support for tourism infrastructure, and an under-served base of natural, cultural and culinary attractions. Emory is designed to convert that regional advantage into a sustained, profitable hospitality business.
